GRAHAM NAMED ASSISTANT CHIEF OF ODNR DIVISION OF WILDLIFE

COLUMBUS, OH - Dave Graham has been named an assistant chief of the
Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Graham
previously served as manager of the southwest Ohio district wildlife office
in Xenia, overseeing a 17-county region. He fills a vacancy created by the
promotion of Steve Gray to chief of ODNR's Division of Wildlife.
In his new position as one of the Division of Wildlife's two
assistant chiefs, Graham will oversee fish management, information and
education, wildlife management, law enforcement, aviation, wildlife
diversity and construction.
Graham, 49, joined ODNR in 1977 as a conservation aide. After
serving as a wildlife area manager at Deer Creek State Wildlife Area in
Pickaway County, he was promoted to wildlife management supervisor for
central Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in
wildlife biology, he became manager of the division's District 5 office in
Xenia in 1993.
Graham and his wife, Pam, reside near Clarksburg in Pickaway County.
He has two children, Caleb and Julia. Graham is also an avid fisherman and
hunter.
