This day may have some truth to it. The morning started 14 miles north west of Conneaut. The early morning fishing was slow, Wind from the south, at 9:30 the fishing picked up but the fish were winning the war by 3 to 1 getting off for numerous reasons. The fish catching increased as we headed north with an excellent pace. By mid day the 120 quart cooler was full with many excellent eaters and a few hawgs. 50 or more fish were caught but only 28 made the cooler.
