| I've been looking forward to get up to lake erie, but i was very disappointed in the launch area at conneaut,i know that the water is low, but there should be bouys out for the shallow water, going out the water is only 2 feet deep except an area along the rocks on the right as your going out, that area is only about 5 foot wide, I know two boats would not be able to make it through, if heading towards each other, I bottomed out twice, going out and in. There was a guy with a 14 foot alum. and he bottomed out. can't understand why they haven't dredged that area out, conneaut boat lauch is a nice launch, but now i am giving it second thoughts about lauching there, I hope they correct this problem, I don't know who to contact to help solve this problem. |
