Central Basin Streams: Streams are still high and muddy and still a couple feet above fishable levels. Excellent fishing should return by the weekend. The smaller tributaries will be fishable first. Good numbers of fish are in the streams and well distributed. Once waters recede, river anglers can expect some fine catches using spawn bags, jigs & maggots, minnows, or flies such as woolly buggers, weighted nymphs, egg patterns and streamers that imitate shiners. Anglers should note that landowner permission is required to fish on private property
