The past weekend seen good ice fishing action at the mouth of Trout Run. Limits were taken thru the ice of 5 to 8 pound steelies.

The lower stream was open and continues to be packed full of trout in the no fishing area.

Presque Isle bay has good ice.

Good catches of perch can be found in the main bay. Although a lot of the perch have been small. The bigger perch caught have been in the deeper waters of the bay. Minnows work well.

Horseshoe Pond has been good for blue gills. Maggots is a good choice of bait here.

The warmer days to come should make for some great stream steelhead fishing well into March
