WALNUT CREEK ACCESS:
The light poles are ready to be put in. The construction crew is here to put in the fiber optics for the surveillance cameras that will be put in. Be extra careful in the parking lot at night since there is no lighting for now until the lights are put in.

Also, law enforcement is on the look out for violations on litter, snagging and running the stop sign. Please obey the laws so everyone can have a good time and no one has to pay a big fine for violating the laws.

Shore fishing people remember to bring your lines in all the way for the boaters. If one of the lines dangling in the water happens to catch a fish while a boat is going by, the fish most likely will take it under the boat and cause hundreds to thousands of dollars worth of damage. It is posted for "shore fishing people to pull lines for boats".

Also, until the docks are out please DO NOT USE THE "SLIP HOLDERS PARKING" AREA. These people pay extra for the privilege to be able to park there. Make it fun so everyone can have a good time and not worry about getting fined or being in a fight. The docks will be out the end of October.

MARINA OPEN FOR FISHING: OCTOBER 31, 2003 at 4:00 PM

FISHING:
Perch are coming in close. Most people are fishing in 40- 45 ft of water with emerald shiners if you can find them or golden shiners.

Walleye are hard to come by. Boaters are using spoons and plugs to catch them. Spoons seem to work the best. Still, little numbers are being brought in.

Steel head and Salmon are coming in the creeks. Boaters trolling in front of the creeks were having luck earlier this week but not so much luck the past few days. We need some cold rain which we should be getting this weekend. As of this writing the water temperature is 67 degrees which is ideal for the run. We just need the rain.

AGAIN, PLEASE OBEY THE LAWS AND HAVE A GOOD TIME FISHING.
