SMALLMOUTH BASS:

Ed Lightner of Pittsburgh caught a nice 6 pound 8 ounce. He caught it out in 16 ft of water west of Walnut Creek on a Tube Jig. Color was Dark Green.

Eleven year old Zach Shute of Buffalo, NY was out with Ron and he came in for a citation for this nice 5 pound 5 ounce Smallmouth. It was 20 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 17 ¼ inches. It was caught on a minnow in 25 ft of water east of Walnut Creek.

WALLEYE:
The only report I have been getting from people are that the Walleye are biting at night but not during the day yet. Most people are getting them off shore in anywhere from 8 ft to 25 ft or water. No real good numbers yet. Just watch for the “Cotton” to fly and that is usually when the fishing picks up.
