WALLEYE:

The Walleye seem to be plentiful so far this year. These are Joe Novaks’ (Junk Man) fish he caught with his buddy Dale Mitchell.

Here is Joe Novak with one of his catch. He was out on Dale Mitchell’s boat when they caught these out in 30 ft of water off Godfrey. He said they were
getting them on plugs and worms.

Rich and Barb Boroski (Afternoon Delight) of Leechburg came in with their limit of Walleye. They were just drifting in 36 ft of water off Trout Run when they caught most of them. They were using worm harnesses and their color was Chartreuse.

I have had quite a few limits come in. Most of the boats are out in 20-30 ft of water going from Walnut Creek, west to Godfrey or even Elk and then back. I can see them trolling right in front of Walnut.

They seem to be biting on just about anything from what I am told.

PERCH:

The Perch seem to be slow right now. The boats that are having any luck are finding them out in 35-40 ft of water off Trout Run and a little East. Also, off the G.E. stacks east of the Peninsula I heard they were doing pretty good.

Today(Friday)we are having storms most of the day. They are popping up every hour. We are to have thunderstorms for Saturday and Sunday and then Monday and Tuesday the waves are supposed to go up to 2-4 ft. The temperatures have been in the high 80's and low 90's most of this week and it is supposed to be in the 70's the first part of next week.
