PERCH:

Six year old Grace Ruhlman of Warren PA brought in her 1 pound Perch for Angler Award. It was 13 ½ inches long and had a girth of 8 ½ inches. She caught it out in 52 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on Emerald Shiners.

The Perch fishing seems to be very good. Most everyone going out is limiting on them and in all different depths. Anywhere from 44 ft out to 60 ft. of water. Most boats are going straight out of Walnut and heading just a little East.

WALLEYE:

Thirteen Ryan Bates of Greensburg PA brought in his 9 pound 14 ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 30 ½ inches long and its girth was 17 inches. He caught it in 68 ft of water off Elk Creek on an Ice Blue Lure.

Five year old Mathew Kohler of Cranberry Township, Pa brought in a 9 pound 1 ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 30 inches long and had a girth of 17 inches. He caught it out in 72 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on a “Michigan Stinger” spoon. His color was Green/Blue.

The Walleye are being hard to find. Some people are going all the way to the Ohio line and some are going straight out of Walnut.
