PERCH:

The Perch seem to be doing pretty good out this way off and on. They can be found in 37’ to 45’ of water off of Trout Run and straight out of Walnut Creek.

WALLEYE:

The Walleye are getting caught at night time still. Not too many being caught in the daytime. Most boats are trolling from Walnut Creek west to Godfrey and back.

Not too much in the fishing report this week but I am sure it will change after Memorial Day. We need more boats to go out to find the fish. The weather this weekend looks great.

SMALL MOUTH BASS:

The Presque Isle Bay seems to be the hot spot for Small mouth. Some in the 5-7 pound range is not unheard of.

WEATHER:

The water temperature right now is 53 degrees.
This weekend:

Friday: Mostly Sunny, Hi of 68 degrees - East winds – 10K – 2 ft or less

Saturday: Sunny, Hi of 78 degrees – Southeast winds – 10k – 1 foot or less.

Sunday: Sunny, Hi of 79 degrees. South winds – 10k – 1 ft or less.

FISH FOR FREE DAYS:

This year the Fish For Free Days are on Holiday Mondays. Memorial Day (May 28) and Labor Day (September 3). You can fish without a license but all other rules and regulations still apply.

WALNUT CREEK SEASONAL SLIPS:

Walnut Creek Access has seasonal slips available for docking. The fee is $725 and the boats are to be 23’ (length over all) and 8’ beam MAX.

TRANSIENT SLIPS:

We also have 4 transient docks for people who only want a slip for a night or so. They are $15 per night with a Deposit of $10 for key for gate. Deposit will be returned upon return of the key. Boats must still be 23' x 8' though. No more than that.
